OverviewAnn Bellefontaine has been providing support to real estate legal practices for 20 years. She has depth of experience on both the lender and borrower side of transactions, and has represented on the lender side both traditional banking institutions and a major national insurance company. Her experience includes assisting attorneys handling mortgage loans, mezzanine financings, construction loans and other kinds of real estate transactions.
Ann has assisted attorneys in the real estate group in representation of clients in the acquisition, development, financing and sale of shopping centers, office, hotel, industrial, multifamily and other commercial properties (including portfolios), throughout New England and the United States. Her responsibilities include all aspects of preparation for closings (loans, acquisitions and sales) and management/organization of the closing process; drafting of transfer/closing documentation; management of tenant estoppel and SNDA projects; due diligence and other research in local, state and federal offices; and drafting of entity/authority documentation. She also has extensive experience in conveyancing and title insurance matters.
