Overview

Bjorn Andersen represents a broad range of institutional investors, developers, REITs and financial institutions.  As an Associate in the firm, Bjorn counsels clients on a wide variety of complex real estate transactions, with an emphasis on acquisitions, dispositions and permanent and construction financings.  Bjorn also has experience in the commercial finance area, including work on several secured and unsecured facilities for national banks and finance companies.

Representative Experience

• Representation of a self-administered and managed real estate investment trust in connection with the $725 million, $207 million and $180 million permanent financings of prominent New York office buildings.
• Representation of a real estate investment firm in connection with the $750 million acquisition of a prominent New York office building.
• Representation of a self-administered and managed real estate investment trust in connections with the $215 million construction financing for a prominent Boston office building.
• Representation of a self-administered and managed real estate investment trust in connection with the $185 million acquisition of a premier suburban Boston office park and the related $144 million loan assumption.
• Representation of a real estate investment firm in connection with the acquisition and financing of a thirty (30) property portfolio located in the District of Columbia, Virginia and Seattle consisting of over 11.5 million square feet.
• Representation of a self-administered and managed real estate investment trust in connection with the $105 million construction financing for an office building in Washington, D.C.
• Representation of a self-administered and managed real estate investment trust in connection with the $130 million permanent financing of an office building in Washington, D.C.
• Representation of a real estate investment firm in connection with the acquisition and permanent financing of several prominent office buildings in Washington, D.C.
• Representation of financial institutions as lenders in multi-million dollar credit facilities.
