Gary M. Ronan is an Associate in the Litigation and Professional Liability groups, where he represents clients in a variety of commercial and professional liability matters. His experience includes helping clients resolve mortgage and lease disputes, the defense of legal malpractice actions, assisting developers in appeals of zoning decisions, representing parties in breach of contract and insurance coverage cases, and defending companies against products liability claims. Gary's clients have included real estate developers, lawyers and law firms, manufacturing corporations, architects, insurance companies, and commercial tenants.

• Representation of the owners of affordable housing developments in disputes with a state agency concerning the owners’ obligations upon the prepayment of their mortgage loans and claims that they have been overcharged mortgage interest over a period of years.
• Defense of a law firm against claims that the firm’s work in connection with a securities offering destroyed its corporate client’s business prospects.
• Defense of a law firm and individual lawyers against malpractice claims arising out of the preparation of an estate and business succession plan.
• Representation of the developer of a large mixed-use project in downtown Boston in connection with various appeals of zoning and permit decisions.
• Representation of a group of architects in a breach of contract action against a municipality refusing to pay for services rendered as part of the renovation of a public library.
• Defense of a manufacturer of industrial equipment in a products liability case involving personal injury to a worker.
• Defense of a pharmaceutical manufacturer against claims of defamation and wrongful discharge brought by an independent contractor.
