OverviewJon Geldert is an associate in our Corporate group who works on a broad range of matters for businesses and non-profit organizations. In his practice, Jon represents clients in contracts, licensing and general business matters, commercial finance, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital financing. He also counsels non-profit organizations on a variety of business matters related to their tax-exempt status. Prior to joining Goulston & Storrs, Jon held positions in the fields of immigration law and higher education. Representative Experience
- Draft and negotiate contracts with focus on intellectual property, health law and technology.
- Represent private equity firm in acquisition of small cap and lower-middle market companies.
- Represent startup businesses and investors in venture capital financing and general commercial matters.
- Advise non-profit clients on corporate governance, commercial co-ventures, corporate sponsorships, acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
- Represent Boston teaching hospitals in data transfer and licensing matters.
- Provide strategic advice to non-profit client in green technology franchising start-up initiative.
