OverviewRob Caridad is an Associate in our Real Estate group. He concentrates his practice on general commercial real estate matters, including development, financing, leasing, acquisition and disposition, with a particular focus on land use, permitting, and green business.
Prior to joining the firm, Rob served as a US Air Force Judge Advocate (JAG) from 2004-2007, including an overseas deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from May-September, 2006. Representative Experience
- Representation of Beacon Capital Partners in joint venture acquisitions of office properties in Washington, DC and San Diego, CA.
- Provision of dedicated real estate legal support to National Grid in connection with numerous electric transmission and distribution capital projects across its service territory.
- Representation of Swedish furniture retailer IKEA in the development of a sustainably-designed, mixed-use project in Somerville, Massachusetts.
- Representation of Samuels & Associates in the development of its 1330 Boylston mixed-use project in the Fenway district of Boston.
- Representation of Nuestra Comunidad Development Corporation in a qualified equity investment transaction under the federal New Markets Tax Credits program.
