Business & Commercial Litigation

The Goulston & Storrs Business and Commercial Litigation group has extensive experience representing individuals and businesses in all phases of civil trial and appellate litigation, including class actions. Because of the depth and diversity of the group’s experience, we are capable of litigating and trying virtually any commercial matter.  Chambers USA recognizes Goulston & Storrs' commercial litigation practice and states "the expertise is outstanding." Two of our members are Fellows in the American College of Trial Lawyers.

We represent individuals, private and public companies, professionals, commercial banks, insurers, financial advisors and investment companies, government entities, REITS, hospitals and other healthcare providers.

Attorneys in the Business and Commercial Litigation Group regularly appear before state and federal courts and administrative tribunals throughout the United States. We also have extensive experience representing clients in arbitration, mediation and other types of alternative dispute resolution, and frequently advise clients who are seeking to resolve business disputes before they result in litigation. Although our Business and Commercial Litigation group is quite diverse, our attorneys have particular experience representing clients in litigation involving shareholder and partnership disputes, officer and director liability, securities law, banking and commercial finance, professional liability, royalty and licensing disputes, First Amendment law, civil RICO and unfair competition.
