Goulston & Storrs Receives High Rankings in 2013 Edition of U.S. News - Best Lawyers "Best Law Firms"

U.S. News Media Group and Best Lawyers have released the 2013 “Best Law Firms” rankings, providing a comprehensive view of the U.S. legal profession that is unprecedented both in the range of firms represented and in the range of qualitative and quantitative data used to develop the rankings. The third edition of these rankings features law firms given consistently impressive performance ratings by clients and peers. Achieving a high ranking is a special distinction that signals a unique combination of excellence and breadth of expertise.

Goulston & Storrs is proud to announce that it received multiple national and metropolitan rankings in numerous practice areas. The firm ranked nationally in Tier 1 for Litigation - Land Use & Zoning Law; Tier 2 for Environmental Law, Litigation - Bankruptcy and Trusts & Estates; and Tier 3 for Bankruptcy and Creditor Rights; Commercial Litigation; Litigation – Real Estate; Real Estate and Tax. Click here to see complete list of rankings.

In addition, 36 of its attorneys were selected by their peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2013 (copyright 2012 by Woodward/White, Inc., Aiden, SC), the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession. Many of the attorneys listed have been included on The Best Lawyers in America® list for ten years or more.

Attorneys named to the 2013 edition include: Ned Abelson, Mark Balk, Timothy Dacey, Josh Davis, Robert Davis, Maureen Dwyer, John Epting, Phil Feola, Magda Fleckner, Robert Goldman, Yaacov Gross, John Grumbacher, Michael Haroz, Douglas Husid, Matthew Kiefer, Jordan Krasnow, Raymond Kwasnick, Christine Lynch, Jonathon Pearlson, Rudolph Pierce, Allison Prince, David Rabinowitz, Richard Renehan, Michael Robinson, Alan Rottenberg, Douglas Rosner, Eli Rubenstein, Nancy Samiljan, Thomas Sartory, Kitt Sawitsky, William Seuch, Steven Schneider, Thomas Sitzmann, James Wallack, Sheldon Weisel and Richard Zielinski.

Since it was first published in 1983, Best Lawyers has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence. Because Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which more than 36,000 leading attorneys cast almost 4.4 million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas, and because lawyers are not required to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor. Corporate Counsel magazine has called Best Lawyers “the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice.”
