Goulston & Storrs, an Am Law 200 firm, is pleased to announce that Brendan M. Gage has joined its Boston office as an associate in the firm’s Corporate Group. Gage brings over eight years of experience in commercial and transactional work to his new role, having worked with clients in a wide range of industries including aviation, energy, high technology, manufacturing, retail, and telecommunications. Prior to joining Goulston & Storrs, he was an associate at an Am Law 30 firm.

Gage will continue to have a transactional focus to his practice, which will include acquisitions, debt and equity financing, and other corporate transactions. Gage also has significant experience in the restructuring and bankruptcy arena, and will bring his depth of restructuring experience to his general corporate practice.

“We are excited to have Brendan join our growing corporate practice. He has broad expertise handling sophisticated matters for large clients, and will be an excellent addition to our Corporate Group,” said Martin Fantozzi, Co-Managing Director of Goulston & Storrs. “Our firm has a highly collaborative and collegial culture, and we look forward to having him on our team.”

Before entering private practice, Gage served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable A. Benjamin Goldgar at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois and as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Audrey R. Evans at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas.

Gage received his J.D. and LL.M. in bankruptcy degrees from St. John’s University School of Law in 2011 and 2012 respectively. He earned his B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2008.
