Christopher Lighten is a law clerk in the real estate group at Goulston & Storrs. He brings with him valuable experience he acquired working as a personal assistant to New York Governor David Patterson. He has also worked as a legal intern at Brune & Richard LLP, assisting the firm’s White-Collar Criminal Defense Team, and he has worked on juvenile cases diverted from the Westchester County Family Court to the City of New Rochelle Youth Court. Prior to law school, Christopher also spent a summer assisting the Strategic Direct Investments & Market Infrastructure Group at the main Bank of America Merrill Lynch office in New York City.
He has also served as a mentor and tutor for elementary and middle school students while working with the Children’s Defense Fund Freedom School in Mount Vernon, New York, and he has mentored high school students as a volunteer for the Yale Black Men’s Union at Yale University.
