Biography
Overview
Cindy Vong is an associate and D.C. law clerk in the firm’s Real Estate Group. She supports the firm’s real estate group by performing research, due diligence, and case analysis for a range of real estate development, historic preservation, and land use matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Cindy was a legal intern in the Office of the General Counsel at the DC Department of Buildings where she assisted in drafting pleadings and content for building manuals. In addition, she was a law clerk in the Office of the General Counsel at the District Department of Transportation. In this role, Cindy researched and drafted legal memoranda analyzing the District’s municipal and transportation regulations and policies, including safe school intersections, parking permits, and multiyear federal contracts. Cindy also externed for the Honorable Judge J.P. Howard of the DC Court of Appeals.
Before attending law school, Cindy worked as a data and research analyst for Warren Village, a Denver-based nonprofit organization running transitional housing to provide wraparound services for single parent families. Cindy’s experience also includes working as a Bill Emerson National Hunger Fellow for the Congressional Hunger Center, a Washington DC nonprofit organization dedicated to ending hunger and creating a world with food security for all.
