October 1, 2018Press Releases

Goulston & Storrs, an Am Law 200 firm with offices in Boston, New York, and Washington D.C., recently added five attorneys as it continues to expand its real estate, corporate, litigation, private client, and tax groups through strategic hires of diverse, top-tier attorneys with a variety of skills and experiences who can provide the best legal service value to its clients.

Eric Seltzer, a New York City lawyer with a global real estate practice, has joined the firm as counsel. He comes from a reputable boutique litigation firm where he was a partner handling real estate matters involving office buildings, hotels, resorts, industrial properties, and multi-family developments.

“Eric is a great fit for our service-based culture, and an outstanding lawyer who has worked on complex transactions involving properties and investors in Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, as well as much of the U.S.,” said Bill Dillon, Co-Managing Director of Goulston & Storrs.

Seltzer has more than 11 years of experience serving developers, entrepreneurs, institutional investors and other clients with significant real estate interests. He received his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University in 2005 and his B.A., summa cum laude, from Syracuse University in 2002.

Seltzer shared that Goulston & Storrs is “the perfect home for my practice because the firm represents many clients with cross-border interests, and is recognized regionally and nationally for the depth and breadth of its real estate work.” He added, “Goulston & Storrs also has an extraordinary service culture that focuses on client satisfaction and success.”

Seltzer joins a real estate group that already features many Fellows of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, officers, and board members in prominent real estate trade organizations, and professionals with diverse experience in real estate matters involving construction, engineering, environmental issues, leasing, lending, litigation, bankruptcy, land use, development, and zoning.

Co-Managing Director Martin Fantozzi noted that Seltzer’s hiring is just the latest in a string of recent lateral hires. “In recent months, we’ve also added four experienced lateral associates in our Boston office to help us meet the rapidly growing service needs of our clients. We’re growing this firm through world class client service provided by diverse and talented individuals who are carefully selected and vetted for service attributes and leadership skills, in addition to their legal skills.”

Jessica Carballo, who has joined the Corporate Group, is a corporate attorney from an Am Law 30 firm’s New York office, with experience in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property matters.
