Across the span of his career, Jim has provided leadership and service for community organizations. 

Most recently, Jim was named a member of the Board of Directors for Kid Power, Inc., a local organization that offers after-school and summer programming for underserved communities. Currently serving almost 1,000 students in 6 schools in the District of Columbia and growing, this organization works to inspire youth leadership by promoting academic advancement and positive civic engagement.

In his leadership role, Jim assists with general oversight, budgetary input and fundraising support for the program.  He also serves as the Chair of the Development Committee, helping build visibility through corporate sponsorships and other community partnerships.
