September 28, 2022Press Releases

Goulston & Storrs, an Am Law 200 firm, is pleased to announce that trust and estate attorneys Eric Cunnane and John Ramsey have graduated from the New England Fellows Institute. The Institute was created by the prestigious American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) to develop the profession’s future leaders. Participants must be nominated by an ACTEC Fellow, and Cunnane and Ramsey were selected as part of the Institute’s inaugural 2022 class.

Both attorneys are associates in the firm’s Private Client & Trust group, where they counsel individuals and families on matters pertaining to the ownership and transfer of wealth.

Eric Cunnane has ten years of experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families from the U.S. and abroad on developing and implementing tax-efficient estate and gift plans to aid with the accumulation, preservation and transfer of wealth. He focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning, trust administration, estate settlement, and charitable gift planning. He also serves as trustee for private trusts, is involved in the investment of trust assets, and represents beneficiaries and trustees of trusts, providing advocacy as well as assistance with best practices.

John Ramsey brings eight years of experience to his trusts and estates practice, which is focused on designing, developing and implementing comprehensive estate plans for individuals and families. He regularly assists clients with tax planning related to income, gifts, estates, and generation skipping transfer taxes. He also advises not-for-profit charitable organizations.

Several Goulston & Storrs attorneys are active leaders and members in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and participated in the Institute as presenters.
