Biography
Overview
Josh Looney is a litigator working with clients on a broad range of commercial, real estate, retail, business, and professional liability disputes. Josh handles drafting, due diligence, research, analysis, negotiation, and case organization.
While at Harvard Law School, Josh served as a student defense attorney for clients charged with misdemeanors and felonies through the Criminal Justice Clinic. He also represented tenants in eviction suits through the law school’s Housing Law Clinic, and he was Executive Technical Editor on the Harvard Law & Policy Review. Josh also worked as a law clerk for the Metropolitan Public Defender’s office in Portland, Oregon, where he researched a manslaughter statute and its legislative history for a murder trial.
