Biography
Overview
Kristen Liang is a real estate attorney focusing her practice on construction matters. She advises the owners and developers of large, complex construction commercial real estate projects. Kristen drafts construction and design contracts of all types and advises clients on construction delay and defect claims. She also handles a wide range of legal research, due diligence, agreements and relevant documents review for a range of general real estate matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Kristen was a construction associate at a New York law firm, handling mixed-use retail and residential projects as well as large infrastructure matters. Her experience includes crafting and negotiating construction management and contractor agreements as well as subcontracts, trade contracts, and agreements for architects, engineers and consultants. Kristen’s experience also includes serving as an intern at The Legal Aid Society in New York City, participating in NYU’s Immigration Defense Clinic drafting and preparing both asylum and cancellation of removal applications for individuals in urgent need of legal support.
