Max feels fortunate to be able to use his real estate skills, on a pro bono basis, to help a diverse group of organizations – from non-profit organizations interested in developing homeless shelters within the City of New York to land trusts interested in preserving open space for farming and other productive uses.

Through his practice, he has come to appreciate that real estate decisions affect not only the built environment but also, more broadly, the communities impacted by those decisions.
