Michael Helweil’s practice focuses on complex real estate transactions. An Associate in the firm's Real Estate Group, Michael drafts and negotiates purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, loan agreements, entity organizational documents and all other relevant materials for commercial real estate and finance transactions. Michael also represents financial institutions in connection with construction, mezzanine and permanent financing.
Before joining Goulston & Storrs, Michael was a Real Estate Associate at a top Am Law 200 law firm, representing a broad range of clients including developers, capital management firms, financial institutions, and owners of institutional, retail, commercial, multifamily, and mixed-use properties.
Michael received his J.D. from University of Virginia Law School and his B.A. from Vanderbilt University, summa cum laude.
