Elizabeth M. Norman Joins Goulston & Storrs’ Tax Practice in Boston
Goulston & Storrs is pleased to announce that Elizabeth M. Norman has joined the firm’s Tax practice in its Boston office. Elizabeth joins as a lateral Associate from an international law firm.
Elizabeth advises clients on the structuring of complex acquisitions and dispositions of domestic and international holdings, including public and private companies, partnerships and S corporations. Elizabeth also provides counsel on the tax aspects of domestic and international corporate restructurings, cross-border transactions, and policy and legislative changes to U.S. and non-U.S tax laws.
Her representative client engagements include representation of private equity funds and investors in fund formations and secondary sales of fund interests, with a specialty in strategic advice for tax-exempt and non-U.S. investors. She also represents large institutional investors in the purchase and sale of domestic and international natural resource assets and real estate.
Elizabeth is active in pro bono legal representation matters, and is a member of the Boston Bar Association. She is also a Director and Vice President of Governance for the Massachusetts National Organization for Women. She received a B.A. degree from Swarthmore College, and a J.D. degree, magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, from the University of Michigan Law School.
