Goulston & Storrs congratulates attorney Christian Habersaat on being awarded the 2012 CEO Award by Community Resources for Justice (CRJ). Chris received the award at a ceremony held at The Boston College Club this month, and was presented with this honor by CRJ Chief Executive Officer John Larivee and Chief Financial Officer Richard McCrossan.
Chris was recognized by CRJ for his work on a pro bono matter that involved property damage to a building owned by CRJ at 699 Massachusetts Avenue in Boston.
Chris is resident in the firm’s Boston office where he is a Director in the firm’s Litigation group. His practice focuses on civil litigation matters including business and commercial disputes, land use and other real property disputes, insurance coverage disputes, environmental and transportation matters.
According to Larivee, “Chris was a tremendous partner for us in this complicated matter. We had a very positive outcome thanks to Chris’ outstanding counsel, insight, and hard work. We remain so grateful to him and all of the valuable assistance provided to us from Goulston & Storrs.“
Marty Fantozzi, the firms co-managing Director, reflects on the recognition, "Chris worked tremendously hard on this matter in particular, and achieved a tremendous outcome for CRJ as our pro bono client. We are very proud of our longstanding partnership with CRJ, and look forward to leveraging our legal talent in continued support of furthering CRJ’s mission in the future.”
