Goulston & Storrs Director Matthew Kiefer Elected Vice-Chair of Boston Municipal Research Bureau
Goulston & Storrs congratulates Matthew Kiefer, a Director of the firm, on being elected Vice-Chair of the Boston Municipal Research Bureau. Matthew was elected to this post at the 81st Annual Meeting of Members and Directors. A longtime board member of the Research Bureau, Matthew assumes his post as Vice-Chair for a term of one year.
Matthew is the co-Chair of Goulston & Storrs’ Medical, Educational and Cultural Institutions industry group and also coordinates the firm’s Green Business practice. Matthew's legal practice focuses on real estate development and land use law, with a particular focus on obtaining site control and approvals from public agencies for complex urban projects. These include market-oriented and affordable housing, commercial and mixed-use developments, and facilities and master plans for health care, educational, cultural and other non-profit institutions.
The only local organization of its kind, the Boston Municipal Research Bureau promotes a healthy business and residential climate by advocating for stability and predictability in the basics of city government — tax policies, service delivery and public education. Founded in 1932, the Research Bureau is known for expert research, independent analysis and trusted results.
