Goulston & Storrs Director, Paul Tummonds, Appointed to National Assoc. of Home Builders Leadership Board
Goulston & Storrs today announced that Paul Tummonds has been appointed to the Leadership Board of the National Association of Home Builders (“NAHB”), a trade association that helps promote the policies that make housing a national priority. Since 1942, NAHB has been serving its members, the housing industry, and the public at large.
The NAHB Leadership Board positions are invitation only, and are typically reserved for top real estate developers from around the country. As the exclusive law firm member, Paul will join the other members who will analyze policy issues, work toward improving the housing finance system, and analyze and forecast economic and consumer trends.
Paul commented, “I am honored to be a member of the Leadership Board of NAHB, and am confident that with my experience, I will be able to play a meaningful role on the Board.”
Paul Tummonds, a Director in the Real Estate group, concentrates his practice on land use, complex zoning issues and historic preservation projects in the District of Columbia. In furtherance of client objectives, Paul frequently appears before numerous authorities, including zoning boards and planning commissions. He has been recognized for his involvement in real estate projects which have helped create vibrant, safe communities offering pleasant places to work and live.
Paul received a BA from the University of Michigan, and his JD from Wayne State University Law School. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the District of Columbia Building Industry Association (DCBIA), and the Vice-Chair of DCBIA’s Legislative and Government Affairs Committee. Paul is a Past President of the Jubilee Support Alliance (JSA).
