Goulston & Storrs’ Kelly Harbour Receives 2020 “Excellence in Marketing” Award from Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly
Goulston & Storrs, an Am Law 200 firm, is pleased to announce that Kelly Harbour, director of client relations & innovation at the firm, has received the 2020 “Excellence in Marketing” award from Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. Harbour will be honored at a reception in Boston on April 30.
The Excellence in Marketing award celebrates high achieving marketing professionals in the Massachusetts legal community. Harbour, who has worked at Goulston & Storrs since 2014, was one of just two marketing professionals chosen for the 2020 recognition.
Harbour’s unique skill-set – half marketer, half techie, and 100% brilliant problem-solver – seamlessly combines marketing “science” with “art.” Over the past five years, she has expanded the firm’s client team program from seven teams to 23 teams. She created and implemented a strategy and “go/no go” process to analyze requests for proposals, which improved the firm’s win rate. She has participated in more than 150 new business opportunities, increasing the firm’s qualified opportunities and yielding higher conversion rates overall, among many other accomplishments.
Outside the office, Harbour shares her talents and creative approaches for measuring law firm successes with the entire industry. She has been a frequent speaker and author for a wide range of organizations over the past 10 years, including the International Legal Technology Association, the Law Firm Marketing Association, the Association of Legal Administrators, the American Bar Association, and New England Litigation Technology Professionals.
Harbour received her B.A. from the University of Miami in 2001 and her M.P.S. in law firm management from George Washington University in 2014. She holds a Legal Lean Sigma Green Belt and is a certified master coach.
