Goulston & Storrs Promotes David Avitabile to Director

Goulston & Storrs is pleased to announce that David Avitabile has been named a Director at the firm. David has worked in the firm’s Washington, DC office for six years, serving real estate clients on matters regarding land use and development law.

David’s practice focuses on advising clients on all aspects of the entitlement and permitting processes in the District of Columbia, including zoning, historic preservation, building code, public space and related local regulatory processes. He also advocates for clients in related land use and development litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. David represents clients engaged in a wide variety of development as well, including residential, commercial office, hospitality, retail, and institutional clients, with a particular focus on colleges and universities. He is very active with pro bono clients such as International Arts & Artists. He earned his BA from Georgetown University and his JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.
