Goulston & Storrs Promotes Six to Director

Goulston & Storrs is pleased to announce that six firm lawyers have been promoted to Director at the firm, resulting in the largest class of promotions in the last several years. Jean C. Bowe, Suma V. Nair, Christian G. Regnier, Peter L. Tamm and Corey J. Wilk are new Directors in the Boston office. D. Hara Sherman joins the Director team in New York.

Jean C. Bowe focuses on leasing and financing transactions, development in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and complex acquisitions and dispositions. She works with property owners, real estate developers and lenders on a variety of matters. Jean earned a BA, summa cum laude, from Miami University and her JD, cum laude, from Harvard Law School. 

Suma V. Nair provides sophisticated estate and tax planning advice for high net worth individuals including counsel regarding charitable giving, and family and tax matters involving business and wealth succession. In the Firm’s Private Client and Trust group, she also represents professional and family fiduciaries in connection with estate and trust administration. She currently serves as a Boston Bar Association Council Member. Suma earned an AB, magna cum laude, from Dartmouth College and her JD from Harvard Law School.

Christian G. Regnier focuses on real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions and condominium creation. He particularly focuses on the permitting of retail, institutional, residential and mixed-use development projects in Boston and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He earned his BA from the University of Vermont and his JD from Northeastern University School of Law.

D. Hara Sherman negotiates public-private real estate transactions in New York and the District of Columbia, often involving government subsidy and tax credits. She counsels city agencies, developers and banks on a broad range of economic development and affordable housing transactions. She recently served on the Management Committee of Urban Land Institute New York and is currently co-chair of the Yale Alumni Real Estate Association. Hara earned her BA, cum laude, from Yale University and her JD from Harvard Law School.

Peter L. Tamm focuses his work on the permitting of commercial, residential, industrial and office development projects. He provides technical and strategic advice on complex land use, entitlement and regulatory matters. Peter earned his BA, magna cum laude, from Boston University and his JD from University of Michigan Law School.

Corey J. Wilk focuses in the areas of commercial real estate, hospitality and retail matters with a focus on acquisitions, dispositions, financings and leasing, as well as liquor licensing, hotel management and hotel franchise agreements. He earned his BA from Middlebury College and his JD from Harvard Law School.
