Goulston & Storrs Receives Top Score in Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2025 Corporate Equality Index
Goulston & Storrs, an Am Law 200 firm, is proud to announce it has received a top score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s (HRCF) 2025 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The CEI serves as a benchmarking tool and roadmap for U.S. businesses to advance corporate policies and best practices supporting LGBTQ+ workplace equality. This recognition places the firm among 765 leading U.S. companies honored with the “Equality 100 Award: Leader in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion.”
“We are deeply committed to fostering an equitable workplace for all Goulston & Storrs’ employees where our inclusive policies, procedures and benefits are not just reflective of our firm’s values, but integral to our culture and success,” said Director Jennifer Jones, Co-Chair of the firm’s Inclusion Advisory Committee. “Goulston & Storrs is known for its collaborative and collegial culture, and LBGTQ+ equality is part of the foundation that makes us successful. This is not just good for our employees; it strengthens our relationships with clients and partners who benefit from our diverse perspectives and experiences.”
The HRCF’s CEI assesses companies based on criteria such as non-discrimination policies across business entities, equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ employees and their families, fostering an inclusive workplace culture, and demonstrating corporate social responsibility.
“The CEI is so much more than a score on paper. For decades businesses have relied on the CEI as a tool for transparency and leveling the playing field for all workers, making sure LGBTQ+ people and their families can share in fair, respectful and supportive workplaces and benefits,” said RaShawn “Shawnie” Hawkins, SHRM-CP, HRCF Senior Director of Workplace Equality. “As conversations evolve on corporate America’s approach to diversity, equity and inclusion, year-over-year growth in CEI participation is evidence of a business community that largely recognizes the responsibility and value in upholding equity and inclusion.”
As the educational branch of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the largest U.S. civil rights organization dedicated to LGBTQ+ equality, HRCF works to create meaningful change by highlighting inequities, raising public awareness of LGBTQ+ issues, and prioritizing advancements in transgender and racial justice.
