Now in its 24th year, the Meritas Annual Meeting brings together legal professionals from more than 50 countries to discuss the critical issues posed by today’s transforming legal business environment. Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Doris Kearns Goodwin will serve as the keynote speaker during the welcome session Thursday, May 1. Her presentation, “Leadership Lessons of History: Doris Kearns Goodwin on the American Presidents,” will discuss the talents and human failings of the leaders and presidents who have formed the United States, while providing enthralling commentary on current events from around the globe by demonstrating how history has answered similar questions. The Annual Meeting will also feature several additional sessions on topics related to today’s legal landscape.
