Laura A. Franklin Joins Goulston & Storrs’ Real Estate Practice in New York
Goulston & Storrs is pleased to announce that Laura A. Franklin has joined the firm’s Real Estate practice in its New York office. Laura joins as a lateral Associate from Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP where she worked closely with Robert I. Bressman who joined Goulston & Storrs in May 2013. The addition of these two lawyers strengthens further the expanding capabilities of Goulston & Storrs’ New York office, and marks an additional milestone in the firm’s steady growth in this critical gateway market.
Laura advises clients on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and financing of assets such as office and retail space, hotels and health care facilities. Working with purchasers, sellers, landlords and lenders, Laura drafts and negotiates leases, purchase and sale agreements, assignment and assumption agreements, licenses, deeds and related closing documents on behalf of clients. She also performs due diligence in connection with corporate mergers and acquisitions.
Laura received a B.A. degree from Providence College, summa cum laude, and a J.D. degree, cum laude, from St. John’s University School of Law.
