Mitali Biswas Joins Goulston & Storrs
Goulston & Storrs, an Am Law 200 firm, is pleased to announce that Mitali Biswas has joined the firm as an attorney in its Real Estate Group, where she will continue to focus her practice on acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing, zoning and permitting, and land use and development. Prior to joining Goulston & Storrs, Biswas was a commercial real estate associate at a Boston area law firm.
She has represented purchasers, sellers, landlords, tenants, developers, lenders, and borrowers in a wide range of commercial real estate matters involving industrial properties, public utilities, solar facilities, historic structures, and mixed-use properties.
“We are excited to have Mitali join our firm. She is one of four mid-level/senior associates we’ve recently hired to join our growing real estate, litigation, and corporate teams. She will be a great addition to the firm as we continue to expand our bench with highly-skilled young attorneys who are good fits for our collegial and collaborative culture,” said Martin M. Fantozzi, Co-Managing Director of Goulston & Storrs.
Biswas is co-chair of the Urban Land Institute’s Women’s Leadership Initiative and serves as a co-advisor for the Indian Youth Group of the India Society of Worcester. She has been named a Massachusetts Rising Star in Real Estate by Super Lawyers since 2019. She earned her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in 2015 and her B.B.A. in accounting and B.A. in legal studies, both magna cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2009.
