As the U.S. heads into a downturn, one type of property has bubbled to the top of every real estate investor’s mind: distressed assets. During the last recession, U.S. commercial property prices fell by 35%, only to more than double over the course of the next decade, powering substantial gains for investors who were willing to take the chance on purchasing them. Now, it is time for investors to decide if they want to take that risk once again.
