Addition of Team from Morris, Manning & Martin Marks Reunion with Partner Wendelin White

Goulston & Storrs is pleased to announce that Roberto Garcia* and Benjamin Kayden** have joined the firm’s Real Estate Group as Associates in Washington DC. Roberto and Benjamin join Wendy White, with whom they both worked at Morris, Manning & Martin LLP in Washington. Wendy joined Goulston & Storrs earlier this summer and was named Chair of the firm's Real Estate Transactions Group in DC.

Roberto's practice focuses on a variety of commercial real estate matters, including the acquisition, disposition, financing, development and leasing of commercial real estate assets. His work involves office, hotel, retail, multi-family and mixed-use properties, and construction, mortgage and mezzanine financing.

Roberto received his B.A. from Northwestern University, and his J.D. from Cornell Law School.

Benjamin represents developers and investors in all phases of commercial real estate including acquisition, development, financing, dispositions and joint ventures.

Prior to joining Goulston & Storrs, in addition to Morris, Manning & Martin, Benjamin also worked as an associate in the Complex Dispute Resolution practice of a prominent Washington DC law firm where he gained extensive experience representing clients in all aspects of civil litigation and settlement administration, which included drafting regulations, policy statements and settlement agreements, managing the claims settlement process, and participation in other aspects of litigation.

Benjamin received his B.S. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and his J.D. from Cornell Law School.

"We are very fortunate to have Roberto and Benjamin join our team in Washington DC," said Barry Green, Co-Managing Partner of Goulston & Storrs. "When Wendy joined our group earlier this summer, many of our lawyers had had the privilege of working with her in the past, and had nothing but wonderful things to say about her. Likewise. Wendy cannot speak highly enough of these two tremendously-skilled associates. We know that Wendy looks forward to continuing to work with Roberto and Benjamin, and our entire Real Estate Group will benefit from their diverse skill sets."
