Leasing for Privately Held Retailer in U.S. and Canada
Representation of Swarovski Crystal, a privately held retailer, in connection with all of company’s retail leasing across the United States and Canada. For Swarovski US, the firm handles all new leases, as well as lease renewals for the company’s more than 200 locations. Representation includes negotiation of master leases with national shopping center owners. Also serve as general real estate leasing counsel to Swarovski, aiding the client with identifying construction, business and legal issues related to the client’s retail leases. Currently negotiating master leases for Swarovski Canada with all of the major landlords in the Canadian retail market on behalf of the retailer.
National Retail Leasing Matters
Representation of Soft Surroundings, a privately held women’s apparel and accessories, retailer, in connection with its national retail leasing matters. Over the past six years, she negotiated all leases for the client in the United States and is currently assisting the client with an accelerated roll-out of 15-20 new stores per year. Also work with closely with the client’s brokers to produce a master letter of intent addressing detailed construction, operational and financial requirements. The firm is called upon to address a range of matters for leases in both malls as well as single store locations.
Office and Educational Institution Owners and Landlords
Representation of office and educational institution owners and landlords in connection with rooftop telecommunications licensing and right of entry agreements. Help clients negotiate master access agreements with telecommunications and cable companies such as AT&T, Verizon, Comcast, Lightower and Fiberlight.
Real Estate Leasing Services to Major Non-Profit Organizations
Representation of major non-profit clients in connection with the organization’s unique leasing needs. We offer real estate leasing services on a pro bono basis to clients, such as Oxfam, so that the organization may better serve those who most need humanitarian support.
Representation of Not Your Average Joe’s in connection with the full range of restaurant leasing and document amendments. Also serve as transactional counsel for the acquisition and disposition of the restaurant chain’s leases and restaurant assets.
