The Goulston & Storrs Transportation group counsels public and private sector clients engaged in all aspects of design, construction and regulation of transportation and other public works projects. Our clients include municipalities, public transportation authorities and businesses that work for and with public sector entities. Clients seek our assistance on a wide range of development, intellectual property, procurement, construction and financing issues arising from public sector transportation initiatives. Our work includes legal and strategic advice and services for clients ranging from Boston's "Big Dig" and the Central Artery Business Committee to some of the nation's leading design/engineering and real estate development firms. We also represent the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, two of the state's largest regional transit authorities and the Martha's Vineyard/Nantucket Steamship Authority.

Led by attorneys with significant high level public sector experience, this group has deep expertise in public law and solving complex multi-agency, multi-jurisdiction issues. Our transportation practice addresses the full spectrum of issues relevant to transportation and other public sector projects of all sizes. We advise and represent clients in contract procurement, federal and state government funding issues, negotiation of agreements with and between governmental agencies, development of design and construction documents, intellectual property issues, development of public / private partnerships on large scale real estate developments, executing a wide range of public finance vehicles and other government-relations matters.
