Footnote in legal-mal case spawns debate over tolling

Law firms faced with claims may invoke their statute of limitations defenses where the plaintiff knew of its damages but awaited “finality” before asserting a malpractice claim.

The idea that "it's never too late" may be moot when it comes to filing legal malpractice suits. But what effect can tolling agreements or filing-and-staying have on this?
