With over 30 years of experience in complex procurement within the international construction industry, Rhian is known for guiding high-profile clients through intricate, industry-defining commercial and public-private construction projects. Her creative approach helps bring large-scale projects to successful completion. Having practiced across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia, she advises on a wide range of national and international projects in hospitality, finance, development, energy, water, and transportation.
Rhian works closely with owners, contractors, designers, and operators on all aspects of construction projects and disputes, from contract negotiation and drafting to project administration, documentation, dispute avoidance, and resolution. She brings extensive experience with a range of project delivery methods, including design-bid-build, construction manager at risk, design-build, and public-private partnerships. Additionally, she represents clients in resolving construction-related disputes through dispute resolution boards, mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
She received her LL.M. (Master of Laws) from the University of Cambridge and her LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) from the University of Essex. Rhian is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, England & Wales, and Hong Kong.
