Biography
Overview
Jim Casiello advises individuals and their families across all aspects of estate planning and estate and trust administration. He counsels the firm’s private clients, drafting proactive and tax-efficient estate plans, creating and updating trusts, and preparing estate and gift tax returns. Jim carefully guides clients, identifying ways to meet estate planning goals that transfer wealth to future generations with minimized tax consequences. In the area of probate, Jim handles petitions and argues motions on behalf of clients who have passed on. Jim’s practice also includes working with family businesses. In this area, he drafts LLC operating agreements, handles corporate filings, and oversees shareholder actions among other legal advice.
Prior to joining Goulston & Storrs, Jim was an associate with a boutique estate planning and tax law firm. His work experience also includes acting as a trust administrator, handling a range of investment management and retirement accounts for individuals of high net worth.
