Laura Mittelman is a litigator and trial lawyer, with a practice focused on high-stakes business, real estate, and environmental matters. In her business practice, she advocates for clients in a wide variety of complex commercial disputes. Laura handles matters concerning contract formation, performance, and enforcement, as well as business-related tort and unfair competition claims. She has extensive experience with partnership and shareholder disputes. Laura also helps her business clients defeat class actions.

Laura has a thriving real estate litigation practice. She handles commercial and high-end residential matters, such as those focused on land use, property boundaries, and construction.  Laura’s experience encompasses resolving landlord-tenant issues. As part of her real estate practice, Laura represents businesses and individuals in all areas of environmental law, including contaminated property disputes and cost recovery actions. Laura’s practice also includes representing condominium associations, unit owners, and property managers in litigation.

Laura’s clients range from individuals and closely held businesses to multinational corporations. She advocates for clients in state, federal, and multi-district litigation forums, with experience at both the trial and appellate levels. Laura regularly takes cases to trial before judges and juries.

Before joining Goulston & Storrs, Laura was a partner in the business litigation practice of a regional, mid-sized firm. She began her practice as an associate in an Am 50 international law firm.
