Doug Rosner, leader of the group, represents corporate debtors, unsecured creditors and creditors’ committees, lenders, landlords, asset purchasers, and trustees across the country in a wide range of sophisticated bankruptcy matters including complex Chapter 11 reorganizations, Chapter 7 liquidations, workouts, and related litigation and transactions. He also advises both lenders and borrowers on corporate and real estate financing transactions, including asset-based loans, asset-backed securitizations, inter-creditor agreements, and factoring arrangements. Rosner is a Fellow in the American College of Bankruptcy. He received his J.D. from Boston College Law School and his B.A. from Brandeis University.
Tim Carter practices at the crossroads of finance, restructuring, and bankruptcy, representing agents, lenders, borrowers, and sponsors in lending and restructuring matters, as well as debtors, creditors, acquirers, and lenders in insolvency proceedings. He is sought out for his broad corporate and real estate finance experience, which he leverages to help businesses on a variety of finance-related matters from debt origination, through any distress or special situations, to recapitalizations, dispositions, and other exit transactions. Carter is involved with the Turnaround Management Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Bankruptcy Section of the Boston Bar Association. He received his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, where he was a Stone Scholar, and his B.A. from Columbia University.
Jim Wallack is nationally recognized for his specialized knowledge of acquiring and disposing of troubled real estate assets, as well as his work with retail and consumer products companies. He brings deep experience in complex Chapter 11 reorganizations, workouts, and transactions involving distressed assets, with a particular emphasis on advising private equity firms and their struggling portfolio companies. Wallack is an American College of Bankruptcy Fellow. He received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and his B.A. from Northwestern University.
