Life sciences real estate, for which there was much appetite during the pandemic, is dealing with an abundance of supply as the market for such specialized facilities finds its footing.

In 2020, life sciences was an important part of our strategic plan,' Gewurz said. 'It looks wrong-headed today, where life sciences is in distress, but we're sticking with it and still believe in life sciences, particularly in Boston and in some of our other markets. It just needs to work itself out through this market.
