Overview

Jim Shipe is a real estate lawyer who counsels investors, developers and corporate clients in the acquisition, financing, leasing and sale of real estate assets. Jim’s experience includes single asset and large portfolio transactions for office, mixed-use and multifamily properties.

Jim was formerly an attorney with an Am Law 200 firm. Prior to entering private practice as a lawyer, Jim worked as a structural engineer at URS Corporation in Washington D.C., where he handled various government projects, including the Standard Embassy Design for the US Department of State, the renovation of the National Archives, and the design of a large aircraft hangar and maintenance facility for the Tennessee Air National Guard.
