David gained foundational experience working at the United States Department of Transportation’s Office of Regulation. Reviewing rulemakings and recommending revisions, he helped ensure compliance with the Administrative Procedure Act, DOT policy, and other laws and executive orders. Committed to helping underserved communities, David spent time serving as a Project Fellow for Lawyers Without Borders, researching unlawful foreign labor recruitment in Kenya and labor protections in the Gulf States. He was also involved in conducting trial advocacy training in Kenya and Tanzania as part of projects combating human trafficking, wildlife crime, and terrorism.
