Working closely with the firm’s Chief Legal Talent Officer, firm leadership, and practice group chairs, he identifies, attracts, and helps integrate lateral partners who strengthen the firm’s practices, support client needs, and advance strategic growth priorities.
Gary brings deep experience in proactive partner recruitment, including market mapping, candidate assessment, direct sourcing, and search firm strategy. He also oversees the firm’s partner integration program, including helping new partners build relationships across the firm, connect with key resources, and position their practices for long-term success. In addition, he helps advance the firm’s use of market intelligence and technology to support a sophisticated, forward-looking, relationship-oriented approach to lateral partner recruitment.
Before joining Goulston & Storrs, Gary created and led the lateral partner talent identification function at a leading global law firm. Earlier in his career, he built and led a global talent acquisition function at an international law firm and established an internal executive search function for a large regional health system. He began his career with two global executive recruiting firms.
