JSmith@goulstonstorrs.com(617) 574-4072Jennifer Smith leads the firm’s talent acquisition and integration initiatives, where she plays a pivotal role in identifying, recruiting, and retaining top-tier legal talent to meet the firm’s staffing needs across all practice areas.
With deep experience in law student, associate, and paralegal recruitment, Jennifer manages entry-level, lateral, and paralegal hiring and integration, in addition to overseeing the firm’s nine-week summer associate program. Her strategic collaboration with practice groups allows her to align candidate skillset and experience with firmwide business objectives.
Prior to joining Goulston & Storrs, Jennifer worked as a Benefits and Recruitment Specialist at a computer software company, where she honed her expertise in talent management and employee engagement. This early experience in corporate recruitment laid the foundation for her long-standing success in legal talent strategy.
Jennifer is active within the legal recruitment community. She is a former President of the Massachusetts Legal Recruitment Association (MALRA) and a member of the National Association of Law Placement (NALP). She has also shared her expertise through panel discussions at industry conferences, contributing insights on law student and associate recruitment best practices.
Jennifer is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (formerly North Adams State College), where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a discipline that continues to inform her thoughtful, people-centered approach to recruitment and integration.
