Nicky Carpenter is a senior transactional real estate paralegal. She works directly with clients on all aspects of local, regional and national commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, construction and lending.
She has broad experience in reviewing and organizing all types of transactional due diligence and closing documents, such as purchase and sale contracts, titles and surveys, entity/organization documents, lien searches, environmental reports, zoning reviews, permits, plats, vendor contracts, easements, covenants and other critical closing items.
Nicky has 21 years of experience as a paralegal, is a DC notary public and a member of the National Capital Area Paralegal Association. Prior to joining the firm, she was a senior paralegal for a large lodging franchisor.

Nicky gives her time volunteering with the DC area’s “In a Perfect World Foundation.” This organization puts on a range of events aimed at supporting educators and children in underserved classrooms. Together, they encourage young people to take action to make a difference in the lives of underserved and homeless youth around the world.
