Carla Reeves helps employers navigate legal, business, and operational issues arising out of the employment relationship. She also represents clients in litigation, administrative agency proceedings and government investigations, and conducts workplace investigations and trainings.
Employment advice
In her counseling practice, Carla serves as a trusted advisor to legal departments, human resources professionals, and executive leadership teams across industries as they navigate complex employment issues, including performance management, workplace discrimination and harassment, accommodations, leaves, wage and hour issues, and separations. She also advises employers on workplace policies, employment agreements, and noncompete and non-solicitation agreements.
Litigation
In her litigation practice, Carla advocates on behalf of clients in state and federal courts, before administrative agencies, and in alternative dispute resolution proceedings. She also represents clients in government investigations and related enforcement actions.
Investigations and trainings
As a trained investigator, Carla investigates reports of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other workplace misconduct. She also develops and delivers customized training on prevention of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation in the workplace.
Carla is fluent in Spanish.

A university, to co-lead, design and conduct a large-scale equity review of its systems and structures for preventing, reporting, and responding to incidents of bias, discrimination, and harassment. Developed recommendations designed to improve the experiences of students, faculty, and staff.
