Megan Watts brings sharp insight and reliable judgment to every commercial real estate transaction, helping clients navigate complex deals with confidence. Her practical approach and deep industry experience enable clients to make informed decisions when developing and investing in retail, office, industrial, and multifamily properties across the country.
Megan’s work is expansive – from the nuts and bolts of acquiring and disposing of single assets, to advising on sophisticated real property ownership structures, including platform investment vehicles, co-GP investments, opportunity zone funds, and low income housing tax credit (LIHTC) partnerships. Across all of her work, she is known for her capable guidance and collaborative nature.
Because Megan regularly represents both developers and investors in joint venture transactions, she has a deep understanding of the motivations and needs of her clients and their potential partners. This well-rounded foundation enables her to identify solutions that lead to successful transactional outcomes.
Megan is also deeply committed to pro bono service and currently serves as a co-chair of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee, where she helps guide the firm’s efforts to provide meaningful legal support to individuals, nonprofits, and communities in need.
