Known for her practical, solutions-oriented advice on complex commercial real estate transactions, as well as her responsiveness and agility, Vanessa Moody is a trusted advisor to developers, institutions, landlords, and businesses nationwide.
Vanessa counsels sophisticated real estate developers, institutional clients, and operating companies on a variety of real property transactions, including space and ground leasing, real property development arrangements, condominium establishment, and management agreements.
With nearly 20 years of experience, Vanessa advises on a wide range of complex commercial real estate projects, including urban vertical developments—primarily in Boston, Cambridge, and New York City—as well as suburban and urban mixed-use centers across the retail, hospitality, office, and industrial space.
She also counsels clients in connection with real estate matters related to corporate merger and acquisition transactions. Real property owners rely on Vanessa to represent them in connection with distressed tenant matters, including bankruptcy cases, in-court and out-of-court lease restructuring negotiations, and chapter 11 auction and sale processes.
National and international operating companies rely on Vanessa for leasing transactions, distressed and non-distressed acquisition transactions, and advice around growth and expansion efforts.
