ACREL is a selective national association of preeminent commercial real estate lawyers, focused on service to clients, colleagues, and the profession. Dunn joins eight colleagues at Goulston & Storrs who are ACREL Fellows: Cecilia Gordon, Jennifer Jones, Matthew Kiefer, Karen O'Malley, Allison Prince, David Rabinowitz, John Ratino, and Alan Rottenberg.
Dunn represents domestic and foreign institutional clients in equity and debt investments in real estate, infrastructure and natural resources through funds, co-investments, joint ventures and REITs. He also advises clients on a broad range of real estate transactional matters, including acquisitions and dispositions, occupancy and ground leases, sale-leasebacks, development, and financing. Clients and peers describe him as diligent, thoughtful, and proactive in his practice.
Dunn is committed to giving back to the community and supporting the next generation of practitioners. He is a frequent instructor in MIT’s Master of Science in Real Estate Development (MSRED) program and is active in the MSRED Alumni Association’s annual CASE competition. He earned his J.D., Summa Cum Laude, from Boston College Law School.
Admission to ACREL is by invitation only following a rigorous screening process. Fellows are recognized for their outstanding legal ability, experience, and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law.
Goulston & Storrs attorneys who are ACREL Fellows actively participate in the organization’s meetings and events. Most recently, Cecilia Gordon attended ACREL’s Mid-Year Meeting and spoke on the panel “Beyond Heads in Beds: Acquiring Resorts and Mixed-Use Properties,” where she addressed key considerations for stakeholders evaluating the risks, diligence requirements, and operational complexities of resort and mixed-use acquisitions.
