We are heartbroken over the loss of our dear friend and colleague, Jim Lerner. Jim was a distinguished attorney, valued by clients and colleagues alike for his wisdom and tenacity. He leaves us bereft but much better for having had the great good fortune of practicing alongside him.

One of the premier real estate finance attorneys in Boston, Jim built a national lending practice representing financial institutions in real estate and corporate transactions. He was affiliated with several professional groups in the real estate industry, including serving as a past President of the Real Estate Finance Association (REFA) and a sponsor of the Boston chapter of the Real Estate Lenders Associate (RELA).

A Co-Chair of the G&S Real Estate Banking & Finance Group, Jim was an integral part of the Goulston & Storrs community, and he will be greatly missed.
