Community Outreach

At Goulston & Storrs, our dedication to making a difference through community involvement sets us apart. A commitment to community is nothing new at Goulston & Storrs; it is an important part of our history and identity.

Cradles to Crayons

A group of Goulston & Storrs women attorneys and clients provided a day of service to the charitable organization, Cradles to Crayons. This organization provides basic essentials to low-income and homeless children from birth to pre-teen.  Cradles to Crayons also sets a foundation for lasting change through meaningful, tangible volunteer opportunities provided to thousands of youth and adults each year.

The Food Project

A group of Managers from Goulston & Storrs participated in a Day of Service at the The Food Project in Roxbury, Massachusetts.  The Food Project's mission aims to grow a thoughtful and productive community of youth and adults from diverse backgrounds who work together to build a sustainable food system. The organization produces healthy food for residents of the city and suburbs while providing youth leadership opportunities. The Goulston & Storrs team harvested nearly 375 pounds of vegetables, enough to provide 750 servings to the needy.

Corporate Challenge

A Goulston & Storrs team runs the annual Corporate Challenge in Boston. The Corporate Challenge is a world-wide series of 3.5-mile running events open to groups of employees from organizations within the business and public sectors. In the spirit of competition and camaraderie, the race is organized to foster company pride and teamwork; but most of all, the objective is to have fun together.

Citizens Schools

Goulston & Storrs supports Citizens Schools, a program to prepare underserved youth for high school achievement, successful graduation and college access. The organization and its partner volunteers are at the forefront of a movement to transform the learning day and improve the educational trajectories of young people across the country. With the help of Goulston & Storrs, students engaged in a mock trial at the Moakley Courthouse in Boston, Massachusetts.

Rodman Ride for Kids

Members of Goulston & Storrs and WS Development took part in the annual Rodman Ride for Kids, a long distance bicycle race which raises money for youth-focused social service organizations.  The Goulston & Storrs/WS Development team raised over $11,000 for the Massachusetts branch of Raising a Reader, an organization providing books and literacy preparation for under-served children.
