Goulston & Storrs today welcomed real estate attorney Jonathan E. Dembling as an associate in its New York office.  Jonathan comes to the firm from Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, and is just the latest lateral associate who has left an Am Law 100 firm to join Goulston & Storrs’ growing New York office.

Commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions and dispositions of real estate assets, financing and refinancing, development, leasing and joint ventures are the focus of Jonathan’s practice. His clients include real estate developers and managers, financial institutions and sophisticated borrowers.  Jonathan will continue to review, negotiate and draft primary and ancillary transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases and numerous other transaction-specific agreements in his new role at Goulston & Storrs.

“Jonathan’s background and experience adds bench strength to the firm’s real estate finance and leasing practices, and he also brings a knowledge of retail in order to bolster our firm’s nationally-known Retail, Restaurant & Consumer Industry Group,” said Douglas Husid, Co-Managing Director at Goulston & Storrs. “We’re pleased to welcome Jonathan to our team.”

Jonathan received his JD from the Washington University School of Law and his BA from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a member of the UJA Real Estate Executives Committee and is licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey.
